The HEART Programs serve students attending public school districts and schools who are experiencing housing instability.  The programs offer support and services to make sure that students have everything they need to be successful at school.

We specialize in the state funded 5177 Diversion Program, focusing on diverting individuals with mental and substance use disorders from the criminal justice system into appropriate treatment, thereby improving long-term outcomes and community health.

Spokane County Library District (SCLD) is made up of 10 full-service libraries and its mobile library, LINC, serving Spokane County. All libraries feature on-site technology such as Wi-Fi, computer stations with commonly used software, and printers. SCLD also provides free use of meeting rooms to library customers and community members.

Volunteers will be on hand to assist with laptops and a printer to help guests with application completion and documents renewals.

SHA annually provides housing assistance to over 6,500 families of low income through a combination of tenant-based rental assistance, project-based rental assistance, and SHA-managed apartment communities. 

SPS Preschool serves students ages 3-5; funded in part by a state ECEAP grant (Early Childhood Education & Assistance Program) which provides free comprehensive preschool, health, and family services to eligible children & their families.

Spokane Regional Domestic Violence Coalition Advocates provide crisis intervention and ongoing safety planning and support services for survivors of violence. We work collaboratively with victim service agencies in the Spokane Region.

The Opioid Treatment Program at Spokane Regional Health District (SRHS) provides services for adults dependent on opioids. The program uses a medication-assisted approach in which individuals experience a decrease in withdrawal symptoms and cravings typically associated with opioid use.

The Mobile Office Truck (MOT) is staffed by experienced program specialists who are able to determine financial eligibility for the cash and food assistance programs.  They process new applications, reviews and changes for active cases; they issue ID Vouchers, EBT cards and receive documents.

Alternative Solutions is a statewide program within the Division of Child Support (DCS) aimed at helping parents toward stability.
Alternative Solutions acts as a bridge between parents and community services; working with people dealing with joblessness, housing needs, legal assistance, medical needs, or being newly released from jail or prison.

211 is a free, statewide, easily to dial and remember phone number that connects individuals in need to a live agent. 211 staff will listen to the caller’s needs, assess and provide resources available to them in their area. At the event, we will be providing community members with information about our services, snacks and 211 merchandise.

WADHH provides services to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community with Advocacy, Independent Living, Information and Referral, Communication Services, and Crisis Intervention.

We are a statewide organizing network and are led by people who live in low-income/affordable housing, and those with lived experience of housing injustice, instability, and/or homelessness. We also include nonprofit resident service managers, and direct service staff. Together, we are building power statewide to work on housing justice, to change local, state and federal laws and policies. We do this through storytelling, organizing, and civic engagement. We are building a class / race cross movement statewide to work on housing justice so that everyone has an equitable place to call home.

At WCFR, we nourish our clients through nutritious scratch-made meals using fresh ingredients sourced from large pass-through organizations, wholesalers, grocers, growers, and others.  The generosity of these organizations, foundation grants, and private donations allows our program families to receive nutritious meals and groceries at no cost. If you are an adult woman in need of food assistance, please register for our services on our website. As of June 14, 2023, we no longer register participants in the car line or walk-up line as you wait for your meals and groceries. You must complete the online registration form prior to joining the line. No qualifying or paperwork is required, and registration is needed only once per year.
